Stability Ball Benefits

If you sit for long periods throughout the day, you may want to consider replacing your
chair with a stability ball sometimes. Sitting on the ball requires balance; it forces your spine
into proper alignment and strengthens core muscles. This can help reduce back pain. It also
causes you to switch positions frequently, which can reduce damage caused by sitting in the
same position for a prolonged time. You can do mini-workouts, and the additional movement
burns calories. Using an exercise ball can improve circulation and may help you feel more
energetic. For a proper fit, your upper legs should be parallel to the floor when seated.
